Liquid Gold

I keep thinking of Liquid Gold as what happens when a label catches light without going pale. It's a golden-green family color, but the undertone reads distinctly warm, like ripe citrus oil rather than honey cream. Compared to Chanterelle, it's less airy and a touch deeper, so it doesn't glow quite as loudly. And versus Cheesus, it holds onto more tone and presence while still staying lighter than the richer amber neighbors.

This is my go-to the one you reach for when you need warm accents that feel deliberate on a green-leaning interface. I use it for e-commerce product pages where you want sale badges, key benefits, and section headers to pop without looking like a default highlight. It also works well in restaurant menus for promo boxes and pricing callouts, and in SaaS onboarding screens for step indicators and primary CTA emphasis.

One quirk: place it next to very beige whites and it can feel slightly isolated, so pair with cooler neutrals or a darker green/charcoal to anchor it.
