Halloween
#fe653c
Spooky, bright orange with a candy-red edge
About Halloween
Halloween hits like a carved jack-o'-lantern glow in the dark. It's orange with a sharper, more ember-like bite than Carrot's brighter, higher value feel, and it doesn't float as airy as Extreme Carrot. Compared to Carrot Lava, it's lighter and less "hot engine," so it reads more playful menace than burn-through intensity.
In UI work, that translates to where you want attention without slipping into error-state heat. I use it for seasonal promos, streaming app tiles, and delivery badges that need to be legible fast but not aggressive. It's also a solid choice for checkout highlights and gaming HUD accents when you want the one you reach for when the orange needs presence, not panic. Pair it with charcoal or deep browns for night contrast, or keep the background neutral so Halloween's undertone stays readable.
One quirk: on very warm whites it can start to feel slightly neon, so you'll want cleaner neutrals or a darker surface to keep the mood grounded.
