Orange Soda
#fa5b3d
Fizzy orange-coral, sharper than Grapefruit
About Orange Soda
Orange Soda reads like fizzy orange syrup in a clear glass, lighter and more playful than the deeper, heat-forward oranges around it. It has a clean orange core with a slightly pink-leaning undertone, so it doesn't veer red like Grapefruit, and it doesn't feel as ember-hot as Carrot Lava. Compared to Firecracker, it's a touch softer and more "drink-bright," less match-flare sharp, so it lands closer to friendly energy than urgency.
I use Orange Soda for gaming interfaces, music apps, and fintech dashboards when you want attention without the "something's wrong" temperature. It's great for notification highlights, progress pills, and secondary CTA states where you still need motion and clarity, but not the burn. It also works well on dark UI where the hue stays legible without turning angry.
If you pair it with very warm backgrounds, it can start to look a little sticky. Cool grays and near-black keep it crisp and controlled.
