Papaya
#fe985c
Light peach-orange overlay with softer, sunnier heat
About Papaya
It's the papaya on the counter that looks sunlit but not syrupy. Papaya sits lighter than Bittersweet, yet it doesn't feel airy like Holland Tulip. Compared to Atomic Tangerine, it backs off that heavier orange punch, staying warm and bright without turning weighty.
I use Papaya when I want the one you reach for to signal "action" fast, but with a softer landing than Atomic Tangerine or Bittersweet. Think ecommerce promo blocks, food delivery "order again" buttons, and onboarding highlights where the UI needs energy without the sharper bite. It also plays nicely in notification badges and micro-alerts, especially on cards with off-white or light grays, where you want warmth that stays readable instead of shouty.
Quick quirk: it can tip a little peach on cooler displays, so pair it intentionally with deeper text grays or keep orange-heavy brand tones nearby if you don't want it to drift.
