Tangerine Tango

Tangerine Tango reads like a ripe orange held under daylight, not the thin squeeze of a lighter yellow-orange. It's noticeably more grounded and more orange-forward than Bittersweet, with none of that sharp, lean brightness that can feel a bit prickly. Compared to Double Dragon, it's slightly less "instant sticker pop" and more mellow in saturation, so it lands with warmth instead of punch.

In interface work, I use it when I need the one you reach for warmth that still feels confident. Great for interface alerts, product highlight pills, and CTAs in retail checkout, delivery tracking, and wellness dashboards where you want attention without the color shouting. Pair it with charcoal or deep slate type and it stays clean over white and light cream.

One quirk: on very cool screens it can lose some of its orange gravity and read more like generic amber, so sanity-check it in motion states next to your primary buttons.
