Indian Saffron
#ff9933
Saffron warmth with calmer, lighter orange-gold
About Indian Saffron
Indian Saffron looks like the first peel of a fresh orange laid across warm paper. It's a richer, more saturated yellow-orange than Cheese Please, with less of that straight-ahead, hot-bolt attitude, and it doesn't drift as orange-heavy as Double Dragon.
Compared with Bittersweet, it sits closer to the middle: lighter than the deeper ambers, but not as "sharp" at the top of the range. That balance makes it the one you reach for when you want energy without the squeak. I've used it for dashboards and finance apps that need friendly urgency, and for restaurant ordering and e-commerce CTAs where the button has to read fast, even over busy hero images.
Pair it with near-black text and off-white surfaces, and sanity-check it against your brand neutrals. On very cool monitors it can flatten a touch, so keep an eye on the orange undertone in motion UI.
