Laser Trap
#ff3f6a
Bright red-pink for high-contrast warning accents
About Laser Trap
Laser Trap looks like a glossy red-pink spot on a UI thumbnail, but it never tips all the way into bubblegum like Diva Pink. It also doesn't flare cooler and sharper the way Infrared can, and it's not as loud and attention-grabbing as Chinese New Year. This shade feels hot but controlled, with a touch more lightness and a smoother undertone that reads more "operator alert" than "emergency siren."
I use it for red status chips and action banners in logistics consoles, healthcare workflow tools, and incident management views where you need urgency without turning every alert into panic. In fintech and media ops, it's the the one you reach for when a warning needs to stand out in dense tables, but your primary red cannot be the loudest element on the page.
Pair it with cool grays or near-whites so it stays clean. On very warm neutrals, it can lean slightly more pink than you expect, so sanity-check it next to your normal button red.
