About Magic Potion
Magic Potion is the orange-red you notice on a glossy UI badge that's meant to feel energetic, not threatening. It sits lighter and more saturated than the deeper flare of Hotter Than Hell, but it doesn't slide as far into red anger as Blood Burst does. Compared with Cherry Paddle Pop, it's more concentrated and focused, so it reads as "active status" instead of a playful nudge.
I reach for it in real-time monitoring alerts and operations dashboards where the banner needs to pop fast without drifting into stop-sign territory. Think logistics control rooms, payments exception queues, and live media pipelines that show an urgent state and then keep updating. It also holds its brand presence on dark headers better than Cherry Paddle Pop would.
Pair it with near-black or cool grays, and keep it off large warm surfaces. Used as a background, it starts to feel syrupy and less crisp than it looks in small UI accents.
