Blood Burst

Blood Burst reads as angry before it reads as orange. It's shifted hard toward red, sitting so close to true crimson that it almost apologizes for being in the orange family at all. This is the shade that makes you second-guess whether you picked the right color, until you put it on dark backgrounds and it suddenly makes sense. It's got the saturation of Coral Commander but trades the approachability for something sharper, more pointed.

You'll land this in error states, alerts, and high-stakes dashboards where the visual language needs to feel urgent and unmistakable. Real-time monitoring systems, live notifications, anywhere the UI needs to cut through noise without softening the message. Unlike Camellia's warmth-without-aggression approach, this one leans into the aggression. Unlike Carrot Lava's confident heat, this reads as active, reactive, immediate.

The catch: it's too loud for primary buttons and too hostile for friendly contexts. This color knows what it's saying and it doesn't care if you like it. Pair it with near-black or cool neutrals and it lands like a punch. Put it anywhere warm or neutral and it starts to feel like a warning, which, sometimes that's exactly what you need.
