Red Coral

Balanced coral red-orange for alerts without blood intensity
About Red Coral
Red Coral reads like the red edge of an orange you'd swear came straight from coral reef pigments. On a white mock, it feels punchy but not frantic. The key difference versus Hotspot is that this one holds more orange in the mix, so it lands as a friendly heat instead of a red-leaning flare. And compared to Blood Burst, it never slips into near-crimson aggression, it stays unmistakably orange.
I like the one you reach for when you want a primary call-out that still behaves in product UI. It works well for retail badges, food and ride-hail CTAs, and thumbnail highlights in media review workflows where the state needs to pop without looking like an alarm. Put it on dark cards and it stays readable without borrowing Blood Burst's hostility.
One quirk: on very pale creams it can skew slightly warmer, so I usually pair it with cooler neutrals or deepen the background tone to keep it from feeling overheated.
