Light Red
#ff7f7f
Blended blush red-orange for softer, calmer callouts
About Light Red
Light Red reads like the first blush of a red that's been softened by daylight. It's not as candy-hot or punchy as Forbidden Fruit, and it doesn't tip into that pink-forward look of Anime Blush. Compared to Embarrassment, it's a touch more lively and less powdery, with a cleaner, clearer red undertone.
This shade is my go-to for interface accents that need to feel noticeable without yelling. Think warning microcopy backgrounds, action confirmations that still carry risk context, and product UI highlights in creator dashboards and ecommerce. In fintech-style flows, it works well for status pills and "check required" prompts because it stays warm and readable against neutrals, especially cream or soft grays. The one you reach for when you want a confident alert that isn't aggressive.
Quirk: it can look slightly flatter next to higher-saturation corals, so pair it with a deeper red or a cooler neutral if your layout already runs warm.
