Gaming apps, music streaming onboarding, social platforms targeting Gen Z, fitness apps celebrating personal milestones. It works in illustration and icon systems where you need maximum signal with minimum visual weight. Fashion brands use it for limited drops and flash sales because it reads urgent without being obnoxious. Even conservative industries occasionally pull it in for accent moments when they want to feel like they're taking a risk.

The catch: it's bold enough that poor pairing kills it. Muddy backgrounds will make it scream wrong. Keep it clean, stark whites, deep charcoals, or equally saturated complementary colors. And if you're running text directly on top, go heavy weight or it'll disappear into the background.
