Matt Pink
#ffb6c1
Drier, muted baby blush for softer red accents
About Matt Pink
Matt Pink looks like a bakery frosting that's been kept in the fridge. Soft, milky, and a touch dusty, it sits in the light end of the red family without going full Baby Pink energy. Compared to Love Affair, it feels less warm and less "settled blush," more airy and cool-leaning. And next to Ibis, it has more body than a whisper, but it avoids that slightly clearer, more rosy lift.
I reach for it on matt UI surfaces where you want gentle emphasis: onboarding cards in skincare and health apps, non-urgent status states, and light accent panels for retail loyalty screens. It also works in editorial media apps for reaction buttons and inline highlights, especially when you need calm visibility rather than the candy-pop push you'd get from Baby Pink.
Pair it with warm creams and light sand neutrals, not bright whites, or it can start to look a bit flat in large blocks.
