Soft Boiled
#ffb737
Softer, slightly cooler golden-green for calm accents
About Soft Boiled
Soft Boiled feels like daylight-lit egg yolk on a slightly matte surface. It's not the sharp, go-getter yellow of Corona, and it doesn't carry the extra glow push of Glowing Lantern. Compared to Buddha's Love Handles, it's a touch more saturated, with a cleaner, friendlier warmth that still reads gentle instead of skin-flattering.
I reach for Soft Boiled when I want attention without turning the UI hot. Think food retail, CPG branding, and promo tiles that need to look fresh but not loud, plus secondary highlights in ecommerce filters and editorial web banners where you want warmth that stays readable over longer scrolls. It's also a strong pick for empty states and soft CTAs because it feels warmer than pale creams without sliding into orange.
Quirk: on very warm beige backgrounds it can start to blend, so I'll pair it with cooler greige, minty sage, or crisp off-white to keep the edges from going fuzzy.
