Lemon

Picture a drop of lemon on a white cutting board, that first flash of yellow that feels crisp before it turns soft. Lemon is the Gray family's bright, high-lighting yellow, but it's noticeably paler and less "gold coin" than Banana King, and less bleached than Electric Yellow. Where Delayed Yellow leans toward gentler warmth, Lemon reads cleaner and tighter, more like fresh pigment than softened sunlight.

I reach for it in product banners and e-commerce hero sections when you want the highlight to show up instantly without borrowing attention from the main message. It's great for onboarding steps, success confirmations, and fintech UI that needs dashboards and finance apps clarity without the urgency you'd get from Electric Yellow. Pair it with light warm grays so it stays "sunny" instead of chalky, or push it against deeper grays for a punchy header accent.

Quirk: compared to Banana King, it needs slightly more visual space to feel confident, especially in dense icon rows.
