Banana King
#fffb08
Pale lemon highlight, softer than pure yellows
About Banana King
Banana King is almost aggressively happy in a way the others aren't willing to be. It's got the brightness of Bee Yellow but trades the glow for something warmer, more saturated. Where Bat-Signal cuts and Bee Yellow settles, this one arrives with actual personality, there's gold in it, a warmth that doesn't apologize.
Use it on product pages, marketing sites, and e-commerce layouts where you need the eye to land and stay. Financial apps that want confident over sterile. Illustration backgrounds, icon sets, call-to-action buttons in packed layouts. The kind of color that works on both light and dark, doesn't need much contrast to read as intentional. It's heavier than Big Yellow Taxi but less industrial, friendlier than Canary without feeling safe.
Pair it with warm grays and it feels natural. Push it against cool neutrals and watch it glow a little harder, which is usually the move. The thing to watch: it's close enough to Bee Yellow that context matters. Use one or the other, not both, unless you're being very deliberate about the distinction.
