Fatback
#fff7ed
Creamy light gray with subdued peach fatness
About Fatback
Fatback is warmer than everything around it in this family, it's got actual cream in it, not just the idea of cream. Where Award Winning White sits almost at pure white with a whisper of warmth underneath, Fatback commits. It's the beige-adjacent off-white that reads as intentional the moment you put it next to cooler neutrals.
You hit it in editorial layouts, publishing platforms, and long-form reading where you want the page to feel less sterile than white but still stay readable. Food and beverage sites land here too, it's got enough warmth that photography of anything organic (coffee, bread, paper textures) sits naturally on it without needing adjustment. Unlike Creamy Cloud Dreams, which tries to vanish, or Angelic White, which stays restrained, this one has presence without performing. It's there.
The catch: on cooler color palettes it'll read even warmer than you expect. Pair it with warm blacks and earth-toned grays and you're golden. Pair it with cool gray and you've got tension. Know what you're building before you commit to it.
