Sapphire Glitter
#0033cc
Deep sapphire violet with glittery focus for headers
About Sapphire Glitter
Sapphire Glitter reads like a crisp royal blue that's been lightly salted with violet sparkle, not deep enough to feel midnight, not so electric it jitters. Compared with Lapis on Neptune, it's less dusk-heavy and more clean-edged. And against Blue Screen of Death, there's a clear purple undertone doing the steering, so it doesn't land as flat, no-apologies "system" blue.
I use Sapphire Glitter in dashboards and finance apps when you want the authority of the blue family without the hard-serious lock of that pure alert tone. It also works in SaaS admin panels, billing screens, and analytics charts where you need links, headers, and primary toggles to feel decisive but still human. The saturation stays controlled, so it behaves better than Brutally Blue when you're building dense layouts.
Pair it with cool grays and near-black text for separation. Warm accents will look a little overweight next to the violet tint, so either mute them or keep highlights cool.
