Fennel Fiasco
#00aa44
Bright, saturated leaf green for lively highlights
About Fennel Fiasco
I think of Fennel Fiasco as the green you notice under studio lights on fresh herbs, crisp and clean without drifting into leaf-yellow. It reads cooler and more "engineered" than Botanical Garden, and it feels less neon than Always Greener Grass. Compared with Hanging Gardens of Babylon, it's a touch more lively in its brightness, but still stays grounded, not vine-dense.
I use it when I need dash credibility without the gray-green heaviness, especially for dashboards and finance apps: KPI deltas, "verified" states, step completion, and cost/ops callouts where you want positive feedback that doesn't play around. In data viz, it holds up on small legends and tight grids, staying legible next to neutral panels that trend warm.
Pair it with cream, light wood, or cool sand, and give it a little breathing room on pure white. Too much saturation beside off-white can make the shade feel sharper than you meant.
