Acid

This one's got a yellow undertone that actually works in its favor. Where Cathode Green reads like a sterile instrument and Atomic Lime sits at peak saturation, Acid is the bridge, it's bright enough to command attention but warm enough to feel less clinical, less pure machine. On dark backgrounds it practically vibrates. On anything lighter it starts to lose teeth.

You'll see it doing real work in live dashboards, crypto trading platforms, and active notification states where you need something that reads urgent but not quite alarming. It's the green of price tickers going up, of active routes on a map, of system alerts that matter but aren't emergencies. Unlike Cathode Green, which wants to disappear into a control panel, Acid Green wants to be seen. It's the highlighter you reach for when pure signal isn't enough, when you need the color itself to carry some personality along with the data.

The trade: pair it with anything warm or mid-tone and it turns sour. Black and charcoal are non-negotiable. Use it as an accent or indicator, not as a field color. One too many instances and your interface starts feeling cheap instead of sharp.
