So Sour

I keep thinking of So Sour as the green you get after a sour candy hits your fingertips. It's bright, but it doesn't behave like the screen-greens around it. Compared to Alien Abduction, it's not that "flat at full intensity" jolt, and it keeps more depth instead of feeling like a neon label. Versus Fluorescent Green, it's not mirror-clean or alarm-airy, it reads as a fuller, juicier tint with a sharper edge.

So Sour lands as a pure, candy-sour green that's light enough to feel forward yet not cold or washed. I use it for motion graphics accents, candy-brand packaging mockups, and green-screen UI states where you want "go" or "ready" without borrowing the tech vibe from EGA Green. It works in dashboards and finance apps when you need a highlight that's confident, not warning.

One quirk: large filled areas can feel a touch sugary and high-priority, so I usually keep it to toggles, key numbers, and focused highlights. Pairing it with deep charcoal keeps it crisp and prevents it from competing with the blacks.
