Deep Sky Blue

Pure sky-blue highlight, not violet-leaning UI links
About Deep Sky Blue
I think of Deep Sky Blue as the "ready-to-publish" version of a primary blue. It feels like a step back from Azure's cyan shove, but it still shows up with confidence. Compared to Hadfield Blue, it's lighter and more open, so it doesn't read as overly composed or formal. And against Bluerocratic, it stays cleaner and more consistently blue-leaning, without that mid-tone purple push.
I use it when the UI needs to look crisp in motion: SaaS header bars, fintech tables, and product settings where labels and status pills have to stay readable without going icy. It also works well for signup CTAs and navigation highlights in education and consumer tech, especially over white page sections. In motion graphics for apps, it holds detail better than the deeper purples in the family, so it doesn't get swallowed by gradients.
One quirk: if you pair it with very cool grays, it can start to feel a touch airy. If that happens, warm the rest of the palette slightly so the blue keeps its grounded punch.
