Philodendron
#116356
Herb-leaning teal for calm focus, less deep than Evergreen
About Philodendron
Philodendron reads like a muted blue-green leaf stain, not the deep teal settle you see in Mosque, and not the heavier, more ink-forward pull of Peacock Pride. Where those feel tighter or richer, this one stays mid-depth with a softer, slightly greener lean that keeps it from turning "all blue" on bright canvases.
I use it when I need blue family confidence without that extra crispness some teals bring. In dashboards and finance apps, it works for section headers and active card borders, especially when the rest of the UI is clean and you want the focus to feel calm, not forceful. It also holds up in healthcare workflow screens where status chips need to stand out over neutrals, but not look sterile. Versus Evergreen, which is the lighter and less saturated negotiator, Philodendron brings more weight while still avoiding the broody edge.
One quirk: it can read a touch cooler than you expect next to very warm grays, so I'd preview it beside your sidebar and empty states before locking the palette in.
