Terrestrial

Picture a wet footpath after rain, where the blue-green haze has been pulled down into the ground. Terrestrial sits mid-depth like a soaked teal, but it's less leaf-stained than Philodendron and less seaweed-leaning than June Ivy. It also feels more grounded than Iridescent, which has that restless, slightly shimmery bite. Terrestrial's undertone reads greener and heavier, with calmer saturation and a steadier, earthward temperature.

I use it when the UI needs blue family trust without the sharper cool edge. In dashboards and finance apps, it makes section rules, secondary buttons, and quieter data highlights feel composed, not icy. In healthcare and logistics workflows, it works well for status outlines and table emphasis when you want separation over neutrals but not the punchy assertiveness that deeper blues bring.

Quirk: because it's greener than the nearby teals, it can make very warm backgrounds look a little more yellow. Pair it with clean slate grays or cool off-whites for the most neutral read.
