Glimpse Into Space
#121210
Deep gray with a faint space-bloom chill
About Glimpse Into Space
On my monitor, Glimpse Into Space reads like a dark screen that still has a little breath. It's not that hard, lifeless void you get from straight black, but it also doesn't feel warm or broody. Compared to Cursed Black, this one is calmer and less tense, more evenly sealed. Compared to Coco's Black, it's slightly less "almost pure," so highlights don't feel as punchy.
I use it for dashboards and finance apps when I want a dependable dark canvas without the palette drifting warmer. It also shows up in broadcast graphics and media pipelines, like lighting control panels and edit monitors, where you need clarity around thin UI lines. Think the one you reach for when the rest of the interface is doing the talking.
One quirk: because the undertone stays firmly gray, it can make cool accents look extra crisp. If your text strokes feel too sharp, soften by pairing with neutral grays rather than icy blues.
