Fake Jade
#13eac9
Jade-leaning teal for grounded, calm accents
About Fake Jade
Fake Jade sits at that sweet spot where it's bright enough to feel present, but light enough that it doesn't demand the room's full attention. It's higher in value than Aquamarine or Aphrodite Aqua, which means it reads faster on screen and won't crush lighter layouts the way those darker turquoises do. The green's there, but it's not fighting for dominance the way it is in Aquamarine. This one's more balanced, almost neutral in how it sits between warm and cool.
Use it in dashboards, health platforms, and modern SaaS products where you need a secondary accent that won't compete with your primary UI or text hierarchy. It works well as a hover state, a subtle background panel, or paired with lighter grays where Frozen Boubble would just vanish. Unlike Frozen Boubble's sharp technical edge, this one feels less demanding. It cooperates instead of commanding.
One thing to watch: test it against both white and off-white backgrounds early. It'll shift slightly cooler on pure white, slightly greener on warmer neutrals. It's flexible enough to handle either direction, but you want to know which version you're building with before you're halfway through the project.
