Capital Blue

Deeper, cooler anchor blue for primary panels
About Capital Blue
Capital Blue sits lower and warmer than Aegean Blue, it's got the darkness but trades some of that saturated punch for a greenish lean that keeps it from feeling austere. It's the kind of blue that doesn't demand perfect conditions to work. Where Aegean swings authoritative, Capital Blue just settles in like it owns the place without announcing it.
Use it in banking interfaces, healthcare apps, and data dashboards where you need a primary that reads as trustworthy instead of clinical. It works in persistent navigation, active states, and any context where you want weight without coldness. Pairs cleanly with white type and doesn't create the visual strain cooler blues can. Unlike Bluedgeons, it's got actual presence; unlike 3AM in Shibuya, it doesn't recede.
The thing: that warmth means it can look slightly muddied next to very cool grays or on saturated backgrounds. But on white, light neutrals, or anything with a touch of warmth, it just works. It doesn't ask much and delivers more than it looks like it should.
