Deep Space Royal
#223382
Brighter, cooler royal violet for crisp headers
About Deep Space Royal
On a dark mockup, Deep Space Royal doesn't feel like a pressed shadow or a fast-passing neon cue. It reads as a deep, royal-leaning purple that holds its edge, with a steadier saturation than the more restrained dark purples around it.
Compared to Intergalactic Highway, this is less crisp and less "high-speed," more weighty and settled for longer reads. Versus Below the Surface, it doesn't vanish into the background. It stays present in dim UIs, closer to Atlantic Navy in its colorfulness, but without feeling navy-first or quite as saturated.
I use it for dark UI accents where you want the purple to look intentional, not quiet: telecom-style screens with keyline borders, media streaming controls and selected states, and dark-mode dashboards in fintech and healthcare product flows. Pair it with cool near-blacks and it stays clean; throw it over warm grays and it can start to look flatter than Atlantic Navy, so keep the surrounding neutrals on the cooler side.
