Vaporwave Blue
#22ddff
Pastel vapor-cyan for calm, airy interface balance
About Vaporwave Blue
I notice Vaporwave Blue reads like a cyan highlight that's been slightly softened and warmed by a late-night screen glow. It's not as icy as Splashing Wave, and it doesn't punch with the same tube-bright confidence as Neon Blue. Versus Brain Freeze, this one keeps more presence in the middle tones instead of drifting into that gentler, breathy cyan.
I use it when the UI needs clarity, but I don't want the accent to feel overly sharp. It's my go-to for status chips, chart series, and hover strokes in dashboards and data-heavy SaaS, especially when the rest of the interface is already packed with dense blues. In motion work, it stays readable without looking jittery, and it pairs well with deeper navy surfaces so the highlight feels crisp instead of frosty.
Quirk: on very dark themes it can lean a touch more pastel than its neighbors, so keep contrast discipline with your text and grid lines.
