About Splashing Wave

Splashing Wave reads like the first bright break of daylight on a live ocean surface. It's a cyan-leaning blue, but it stays cooler and more airy than Neon Blue and Sparky Blue, without drifting into Brain Freeze's softer, more forgiving glow.

For UI, I use it when I need a clear "this matters" signal that still feels breathable. It works well for dashboards and data-heavy SaaS where you're highlighting status chips, hover strokes, and chart series without making the interface feel electrified or jittery. Compared to the punchier neighbors, this one holds a lighter, cleaner saturation so it doesn't look harsh next to dense navy text.

Quirk: on very dark backgrounds it can feel almost frosty. I'll usually pair it with slightly deeper blues or charcoal so the highlight stays crisp instead of glassy, especially in busy tables.
