Skinny Jeans
#5588ff
Pale, saturated blue-lilac for crisp UI highlights
About Skinny Jeans
On my monitor, Skinny Jeans reads like a clean, mid-light purple with a slightly blue lean, not the airy softness of Orchid and not the smoother, more grounded purple of Pan Purple. It's more saturated than the calmer neighbors, yet it doesn't go as electric as Polar Glow. The undertone sits cool and crisp, but it still feels "tailored" rather than neon.
I use Skinny Jeans for UI moments that need a confident accent without turning into a primary attention-grabber. Think fintech subscription cards, telecom plan selectors, and creator platform CTAs where links and focus rings should look intentional on white and light grays. It also works well in product dashboards for selection states, row highlights, and chart legend emphasis when your palette already leans blue.
Quirk: because it's cooler and a bit denser than Orchid, it can feel heavy next to very pale tints, so give it contrast with mid-tone neutrals or a deeper indigo background.
