Pan Purple

Pan Purple is the purple you notice in a screenshot where the blue accents have already been used up. It sits between Blue Öyster Cult's lighter, easier tone and Orchid's airy coolness, but it reads more decisively purple than both. Compared to Blue Jay, it's not as deep or punchy; it has a smoother, more even saturation that feels controlled rather than loud.

I like Pan Purple for dashboards and creative tool interfaces where you need a dependable brand accent that still feels friendly. It's great in SaaS header bars, navigation highlights, and media pages that need a clear "purple" without sliding toward the blue side. It also works well for data viz legends and chart accents where the UI is mostly gray, because this shade keeps its identity instead of fading or shifting too far cooler. Pair it with warm neutrals if you want it to feel anchored, and with mid grays if you want the purple to stay crisp.

One quirk: it can look slightly flatter beside very saturated purples, so if your palette has a darker "statement" violet, give Pan Purple some breathing room in layout and spacing.
