Verminal
#55cc11
Mid-bright yellow-green for mid-signal UI states
About Verminal
Verminal looks like fresh chlorophyll laid over a modern display glow, but it doesn't feel as electric as Blinking Terminal and it's far less swampy than Monstrous Green. Compared to Candy Green, it keeps the green core tighter, with less sweetness and less yellow pull. The result is a clean, medium-bright green that reads deliberate rather than playful.
I use it for product and tooling UI where you want "active" without tipping into alert territory: status tags in industrial control and logistics dashboards, focus and selection states in CAD and GIS layers, and approval or sync indicators in internal web apps. It sits especially well in dark panels where it won't get swallowed, and it still holds its shape on light neutrals if you give it some contrast space.
Pair it with deep grays and cool charcoals. If you mix it with saturated yellows, it starts to blur toward the candy side fast, so I'd keep that neighborhood controlled.
