Blinking Terminal sits right at that sweet spot where neon stays readable. It's brighter than Bergamot but doesn't have Corrosive Green's clinical detachment, and it's got enough yellow undertone to feel intentional without tipping into Alarming Slime's aggression. The saturation is high, it cuts through, but there's a warmth here that keeps it from feeling like pure electricity.

You'll land it in code editors, monitoring dashboards, and live system interfaces where the color itself needs to feel active without being hostile. Developer tools, network status indicators, active connection states, terminal UI elements. It works because it reads as *present* rather than *screaming*. Against dark backgrounds it's got presence. Against lighter ones it holds its own without that thin, stretched feeling thinner greens get.

Pair it tight with near-blacks or deep grays and you get that perfect hum, the color equivalent of something quietly doing its job. Pull it into lighter neutral spaces though, and give it room to breathe, or it starts feeling cramped. It's not a color that works smaller than it looks.
