Cockatoo
#58c8b6
Soft teal-cyan hinge for airy Blue sections
About Cockatoo
Cockatoo punches harder than Bevelled Glass but stops short of Cabbage's green creep, it's saturated enough to actually register without tilting the whole temperature of a room. This is the teal that feels alive on screen without the clinical edge of its bluer cousins. It lands somewhere between confident and approachable, which is harder to pull off than it looks.
Reach for it in health apps, fintech dashboards, and product interfaces where you need accent layers and active states that don't apologize. Button hovers, success indicators, selected cards, anything that should feel present without dominating. It reads cleaner than Cabbage on cooler displays and has way more personality than Cerulean Skies, it's the one I reach for when secondary surfaces need to actually work, not just exist.
Pair it with dark charcoal type and it holds sharp. The slight warmth in the saturation keeps it from drifting gray on you the way paler teals do, and it won't compete with data-heavy layouts if you're using it deliberately. Test it on your actual backgrounds early though. It's specific enough that a monitor shift will move where it lands.
