Deeper, warmer purple for grounding vine accents
About In the Vines
It's the kind of purple you notice on a dark timeline: a calm, viney shade that feels more grounded than a fresh violet wash, but not as mulberry-deep or dusty-warm as the other entries in the family. Compared to Freshly Purpleized, this one holds a little more weight and stays clearer, not airy. Compared to Grapes of Italy, it's less cooled and less "letterpress ink" rich, and it avoids drifting toward the earthy grit of Berry Jam.
For me, In the Vines is the one you reach for when you want a purple that reads intentional in motion-heavy interfaces. I use it for music apps and creator dashboards where accents need to show up on play controls, progress states, and secondary navigation without turning heavy. It also works in editorial layouts for section headers and interactive highlights when you're balancing against off-whites and cool greige.
Quirk: on very light surfaces it can look slightly muted, so I treat it like an accent color, then pair with deeper purples for contrast.
