Imperial

Imperial (#602f6b) looks like a plum-tinted ink pulled slightly toward magenta, not like wine-dark haze. In a UI preview it reads heavier and more solemn than the lifted, grape-pink accents, but it never turns as bruised or cool as Heartless. Compared to Galactic Grapevine, it keeps its intensity without the airy, soda-bright lift.

I use Imperial as the authority anchor when you need selection and status markers to feel decisive, not playful. It's my pick for dashboards and finance apps when the highlight can't drift into purple-ink territory, and it works well in e-commerce admin and creator tooling for active tabs, priority filters, and "locked" states. Think media systems too, but for editorial emphasis that should feel controlled, not feminine-casual.

Pair it with warm near-blacks, cocoa browns, or creamy grays so the magenta-lean stays clean. Next to very hot pinks it can feel tighter, so give it a neutral buffer.
