Opulent Purple
#673362
Warmer medium-dark purple for soft emphasis layers
About Opulent Purple
On a mock, Opulent Purple reads like a deep plum that stays intentionally lifted, not bruised. It has that plush, pink-family warmth in the undertone, but the saturation feels tighter than Grape and less magenta-ink than Imperial. Compared with Imperial Purple, it's slightly less cool and less "controlled center," so it lands more rich than sharp.
I use Opulent Purple when the UI needs a confident selection color that doesn't drift toward the inkier end of the palette. It's my the one you reach for shade for dashboards and finance apps when active chips, status pills, and primary filters need to look premium without turning shadowy like Heartless. It also works well in creator and media systems for overlay tags on thumbnails, where you want the label to pop while still feeling warmer and closer to pink.
Pair it with warm near-blacks, cocoa browns, or creamy grays. Next to Imperial, it'll feel softer and more pink-leaning, so keep magenta highlights buffered with neutrals.
