Grape Kiss
#82476f
Deeper grape-mauve for high-contrast pink accents
About Grape Kiss
On my screen, Grape Kiss reads like a darker plum-pink stain that stays smooth instead of turning dusty. It's deeper than Grape Candy and more saturated, but it doesn't carry the "after-impact" desaturation vibe of Bruise. Compared to Dr Who, it feels less lilac-calm and more firmly grape-toned, with a cooler undertone that keeps it from getting friendly.
I reach for it when the layout needs pink to feel grown-up and precise: dashboards and healthcare portals that can't look cute, product detail pages for "selected" states, and editorial sidebars where you want a clear accent without the loudness of hot pink. It also holds up well in creator tools, especially for status chips and secondary action emphasis.
Pair it with warm charcoals or deep espresso neutrals so the grape note stays intentional. On very pale backgrounds, it can look almost velvety, so give it enough contrast from the surrounding text.
