Royal Purpleness
#881177
Cool, deep purple-magenta for confident borders
About Royal Purpleness
On my dark mockups, Royal Purpleness feels like a royal hat placed on a pink base. It lands more magenta-forward than Noble Plum, which goes smoother and slightly deeper, and it avoids the bruise-stained compression of Hello Darkness My Old Friend. Compared to Grapest, it's a touch more saturated and keeps its edge, so the pink identity doesn't get pushed aside by plum dust.
I use it for product moments where you want a confident accent that still reads pink first: fashion and beauty ecommerce CTAs, subscription step highlights, and onboarding progress pills. It works hard on editorial templates too, especially for headline callouts and selection states, because it holds weight without turning into the shadowy tone you get from the darker pinks.
Quick pairing note: put it next to warm charcoals or deep cocoa neutrals. Cooler grays can make it feel a little too tight, like it's bracing instead of leading.
