Chocolate Explosion

This one's darker and cooler than Annatto without going full dusty like Coco Muck does. Chocolate Explosion sits in that middle ground where it's clearly warm, there's still orange in the mix, but the heat is tamped down, almost matte. It reads less like a color announcing itself and more like one that's been left to sit for a while.

You'll land it in packaging for chocolate and coffee products, editorial headers, and dashboard UI where you need warmth that doesn't feel loud. It works harder than the brighter oranges in this family because it doesn't require perfect white backgrounds to register. Stack it against cream, warm gray, or even slightly darker surfaces and it stays legible without flattening. Better than Brick for food contexts where you actually want that cocoa undertone to matter, but less fussy about contrast than Coco Muck.

Pair it with cool grays and it'll punch just enough to hold its own. Against pure white it doesn't lean as aggressively orange as Annatto, so there's less guesswork, you know what you're getting from the start.
