Silk Satin
#8b4248
Soft rose-brown satin for gentler warm accents
About Silk Satin
Silk Satin looks like a ribbon of berry-rose pigment spread thin over warm umber, not like a spark. It's noticeably more muted and less ember-hot than the redward orange of Red My Mind, and it doesn't sink into the matte, sit-for-a-while depth you get with Chocolate Explosion.
Compared with Shin Godzilla, it stays cleaner and less smoked, with a satin sheen that reads as controlled warmth instead of lacquered intensity. I like it for dashboards and finance apps when you need a human, touchable accent for labels, required-field states, or editorial badge chips. It also shows up well in consumer health and beauty product UI where you want "red presence" without slipping into warning-red or brick-brown territory.
Quick note: because it's not as dark or cool as Shin Godzilla, it can feel a touch brighter on very pale backgrounds, so test it next to creams and warm grays rather than stark whites.
