Red Elegance
#85464b
Richer red-brown with polished warmth for contrast
About Red Elegance
Red Elegance lands like a lacquered coat of brick-red on a warm clay tile, but with a calmer, more controlled glow than you'd expect from something this red. Compared to Silk Satin, it's richer and less berry-matte, so it reads more like a dyed layer than a muted ribbon. Compared with Chocolate Explosion, it holds more clarity and warmth, instead of sinking into cocoa dust.
What I notice in UI is how it stays readable without turning into warning-red. It's my go-to when I want a decisive accent that still feels crafted: dashboards and finance apps for badges that need authority, editorial product cards for section labels, and retail health/beauty screens where you want the one you reach for when red needs to feel premium, not harsh. With Red My Mind, the difference is undertone and behavior: Red Elegance feels slightly deeper and more saturated, less tomato-pigment smudged and less terra-adjacent.
Quirk: on very pale backgrounds it can look heavier than those darker neighbors, so it pairs best with warm grays, sand creams, or softly toned charcoals.
