Nocturne Red
#7a4b56
Deep nocturnal crimson with muted cool undertone
About Nocturne Red
I just noticed Nocturne Red on a night-mode admin panel mock. It feels like a red that's gone a size darker and steadier, the kind that doesn't flare even when the UI around it is quiet. Compared to Liaison's cooler, composed attention tone, this one leans more toward a muted, plum-red warmth. And unlike Flirt's midtone blush presence, Nocturne Red sinks lower in lightness, so it reads less like urgency and more like a contained decision.
Use it when you want night-shift seriousness in dashboards and finance apps that show late-hour alerts, lockouts, or transaction holds. It also works well for destructive confirmations in mobile banking flows where the background is near-black and you still need the action to feel deliberate, not frantic. Compared with Indian Silk's satin warmth, Nocturne Red is deeper and more nocturnal, with a heavier, slightly smoky undercurrent.
Pair it with cool grays or charcoal so it keeps its grounded mood instead of sliding toward mauve on light themes.
