Red My Mind
#994341
Bright brick red with cooler, crisp orange edge
About Red My Mind
Red My Mind reads like a fresh smear of tomato red over dried terracotta, not a bright orange flare. It's unmistakably redward in the Orange family, with a denser, muted warmth that feels more like pigment than ember. Compared to Lumberjack, it doesn't have that match-heat urgency or ember-smoky edge, and it won't look as confident and punchy in motion cues.
Compared with Mature Cognac, this shade stays cleaner and less aged, less wood-stain and more direct pigment. Versus Rusty Heart, it's also smoother and slightly lighter, so it doesn't tip into worn-metal dust. I use Red My Mind for dashboards and finance apps when the UI needs a decisive callout that still feels human, like overdue badges, risk-step states, or editorial section labels on dark themes. It's the one you reach for when you want "red alert" energy without sliding into warning-red territory.
Pair it with oat creams, soft charcoals, or muted browns so it stays grounded, and keep neighboring oranges either lighter or more coppery so it doesn't flatten the contrast.
