About Ancient Chest
Ancient Chest is the brown that actually sits still. Where Cinnamon Sparkle has movement and Coconut settles into the middle ground, this one commits to density. It's darker and more muted than either of its neighbors, with less red pull and less warmth, the yellow family member that's closest to just being brown. The saturation is there, but it's grounded, not bright.
Use it for applications that need weight without aggression. Heritage food packaging, book interiors, button states on platforms where a warm accent shouldn't dominate. It reads clearly against light backgrounds and holds its own against dark ones, but it won't leap off the page. This is the one you reach for when you need presence that feels settled, not the color demanding attention in the corner.
Pair it with warm or neutral palettes and it lands exactly where you intend. Cool grays will do the same flattening they do to the others, but Ancient Chest takes that hit harder because it's already operating on less luminosity. If your ecosystem runs warm, it's solid. If it runs cool, you've likely got better options.
