Panela

Muted panela brown, less pumpkin than Garfield
About Panela
Panela reads like spiced pantry paper that's been inked with a careful hand. It's unmistakably in the Yellow family, but it doesn't behave like the brighter neighbors; the tone is more burnt and muted, leaning brownier without going as dense as Ancient Chest.
Compared to Hello Fall, Panela has less dusty lift and more depth in the midtones. Versus Cinnamon Sparkle, it keeps its warmth but drops the extra brightness, so it feels steadier rather than breathy. I use it for heritage food packaging where the label needs to look real and handled, not decorative. It also works well for editorial UI such as section headings, article dividers, and secondary button text on craft e-commerce pages where you want clear hierarchy without that quick "snap."
One quirk: it holds up against cream backgrounds, but it can look heavy next to true bright oranges or highly saturated yellows. Pair it with cocoa, oatmeal, or softened greens to keep it grounded.
