Mulled Cider

Warm muted orange-brown brings cozy depth to yellow layouts
About Mulled Cider
Mulled Cider looks like the first sip of a spiced drink you forgot you left to steep. It's a mid-light browny yellow that feels warm, but not dusty like Cumin, and not leather-heavy like Gramps Shoehorn.
Design-wise, it's the shade I use when I want warmth with a rounder, more drink-like undertone. Think beverage and hospitality UI: menu panels, booking confirmation screens, receipt headers, and section dividers over warm photography. It also holds up in editorial layouts for food stories where you need a background that supports type without going creamy-soft or stealing focus. Compared to Café au Lait, this one reads a touch more saturated and slightly deeper in tone, so it feels more grounded than the lighter, calmer neighbor.
Caution: on very pale creams it can tip toward "bready," so pair it with warmer grays or darker earth text if you want crisp hierarchy.
