Landjäger

I keep a sticky note in my head for Landjäger: it looks like a roasted paprika skin pulled just to the edge of brown. Less red-forward than Cherry Bomb, less cocoa-deep than Chocolate Chilli. It reads like muted, warm rust-red with a steady glow, not a flare.

In UI, this is the shade I reach for in dashboards and finance apps where "attention" needs to feel earned, not reactive. Think logistics and hospitality reporting screens, payment status labels, and media brand toolbars that still need warmth over urgency. Compared to Intrigue Red, Landjäger cools off the wine tone and sits flatter, so it doesn't feel as bright or as candy-coated. It also holds up better on darker surfaces than brighter oranges, because its undertone is already grounded.

If you pair it, I'd keep it tight with warm greiges or smoky charcoals. Next to high-saturation reds it can disappear, but alongside earthy neutrals it stays legible and controlled.
