Lush Bamboo
#afbb33
Yellow-green that reads brighter than muted chart greens
About Lush Bamboo
Fresh-cut bamboo on a warehouse floor: that yellow-green hit, but softened. Lush Bamboo (that's the vibe) sits a touch more yellow than Celery, yet it's not as muted or grounded. Compared with Funky Frog, it's less punchy and less "signal," more of a steady growth tone than an alert. And vs Citrus, it backs off the sharpness, so you get lift without the sharper, more direct snap.
I reach for it in dashboards and logistics maps where you want "active" and "growing" without looking pushy. It's great in agriculture and wellness UIs as a section header, progress pill, or gentle card background, especially when your UI leans warm woods, pale linens, or off-white surfaces. On mid-value grays it stays present, unlike some brighter yellows that race to the foreground.
One quirk: on very cool or heavily desaturated layouts, it can feel a bit flat next to darker greens, so pair it with at least one warmer accent to keep it alive.
